Ever since I was a little girl I loved being read to and would literally spend hours reading to myself. I still have a love for this peace time spent and as a mama of two I try to keep my book a week (which used to be two or three) a part of my ritual for myself. However, with two little ones though, four years old and two years old, it can be challenging to find the time and when there is the time, having the energy to stay actively engaged whilst not falling into my own deep slumber.
One of the highlights of motherhood for me because of my love of books is reading to my girl’s daily and before bed. There are so many beautiful books available today and I wanted to share with you some of my favorites. I’m always asked which I would recommend because I tend not to read the mainstream ones, classics yes, but I like to introduce them to their innate magical imagination, books that inspire and stories that seduce their seed-like minds through wonder while offering a beautiful tale and moral display of love compassion, joy and empathy.
Here are the highlights of our library, and they are ever growing, so I will update as I find more magical ones to pass along. Just click on image of cover photo for link to purchase. Sat Nam.
